THE CLOUDS

The clouds in my eyes turn so thick,
The vision is blur, yet I can see,
No better place than this moment,
To cherish and appreciate is what I seek.

The clouds in my eyes soar so high,
But hours past they fade away,
I pretend to stop yet I feel that,
I might lie on them and explore the sky.

The clouds in my eyes are full of thought,
Some I regard as precise and yet some are vague,
I fear my words might get mislaid,
As I try to hold them tight with a knot.

The clouds in my eyes make me ruminate,
About all those things that I did not dare to think,
And though the clouds are light, my eyes a sky,
I'm left dreaming as the clouds lift me from my present state.

AS LONG AS YOU'RE FREED

No more are the days old,
No stories are there untold,
No mind is filled with fear,
Not a sole noise is to hear,
Never knew I could be numb,
Never in haughtiness I succumb,
Nothing leaves me in pain,
Yet my failures help me gain,
Never move back from the ways to fight,
Never give up until you see the light,
Nothing can harm your soul indeed,
You're always you're own as long as you're freed.

SCHOOL AND COLLEGE

Leaving behind your old school days,
You enter your life's another new phase.
Wearing the same uniform thus ends,
You set out to make some other new friends.
Study although resumes with a fresh new cause,
So memorable indeed the old school was.

Some homeworks you refuse to do,

Coz you don't find a sole clue,
Filled with scoldings of all teachers,
Yet you love those boring preachers.
Waiting eagerly for your mates' lunch box,
Sometimes absenting school, reasoning pox.
Excitement rises with trinng of recess bell,
You drag yourself to enjoy as well.

When university shows a new ray in your career,

Time has come for you to cross the barrier.
Yet your enjoyment never comes to cease,
Bunking classes, you do it with ease.
Studying before the finals is like a ritual,
Studying with your mates who are your mutual.
None can forget the school, neither college,
Coz this phase is all yours age after age.

WORLD VIOLENCE

Deep inside in this world I see,
An ocean of love and a drop of glee,
Standing amidst the worldly cloud,
Where the cloth of peace has turned into shroud.
When bloods of innocents fill the rivers,
And deep blue oceans turn into red,
Does peace comes at price when people bleed,
As humans reside in a mansion of greed?

The world hungers for a peaceful soul,

And you strive for a soulful heart,
Melancholy! Melancholy! The cry I hear,
But who cares! When they're here to make us apart,
From the ones of our dear!

I stand and feel this gory rain,

Where conflict prevails with death and pain,
I see the sky quite obscure and dark,
That paints my soul with painful mark.

Will rise, a new sun you'll see,

And will decimate this evil tree,
I shall behold this after I write,
When love and peace will stand upright,
This outrageous temperament is on its brink,
That day is not far when it shall sink.
