Solitude befriends me
When days get drugged,
Dreams hug me sweetly
When I sleep unhugged.
Morning chirps wake me up
From my drowsy gloom,
Dreadful memories wane
And sweet flowers bloom.
Patience rinses sulky self
In dance of a rising dawn,
My dusty misty life relives
Serenity of the idyllic lawn.
Sullen I ponder within soul
In contemplative solitude,
Amid serenades of nature
And feel soul-felt beatitude.
